The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about an unprecedented landscape for teachers and students of different academic levels. During these months, great efforts have been made by the local tertiary sector to rise to the many unforeseen challenges in order to explore opportunities of teaching online classes without compromising student-teacher interaction, assessment standards, peer learning, and other factors.

This sharing and discussion session aims to provide colleagues from the 8 university ELCs in Hong Kong with an opportunity to share knowledge and experience as well as to discuss critical issues related to teaching online during these months. We come together to discuss challenges we and our students experience in teaching and learning online, explore how these challenges have been addressed, identify creative strategies and useful resources, and share pedagogy and good practices to support each other in the face of uncertainty. Key points of discussions will be shared on the HKCPD Hub website.

Special addition: We will have a short break in the middle of the session with musical entertainment provided by Mr Nick Florent.

The sessions will be online via Zoom. (A link and a password will be sent to registrants.)
